Opening in autumn 2026, Turku Music Centre Fuuga offers 15,000 m² of space dedicated to music. The main concert hall is finely tuned for orchestral music, yet it is equally suited for a wide range of other uses. The Ateljee Hall is ideal for smaller concerts and events.

How does it sound?

Fuuga’s shapes and materials are by PES-architects and head designer Tuomas Silvennoinen. Designed by renowned acoustician Eckhard Kahle, Fuuga’s world-class acoustics are shaped by the latest scientific research. Every curve is tuned to millimetre precision, guiding sound evenly across the hall and up to the balconies. Music surrounds the audience, creating an equal and immersive listening experience from every seat.

The two halls

The concert hall stage is built for up to 100 performers, with an orchestra pit that opens the door to productions such as opera. From 1,300 seats for acoustic concerts to 1,000 for amplified performances, the hall adapts to the music. The more intimate Ateljee Hall can fit around 300 guests.

Can you hear it?
